Coronation Street Legend Sean Wilson Set To Combine His Passions Together

The former Coronation Street star Sean Wilson is ready to make his TV return after long five years. The 58-year-old played the character of Sean Wilson in the cobbles. Till now, he was busy running his cheese business. Recently, he has decided to turn his passion into a TV documentary. The actor announced, “I’ve got an idea for a documentary about my cheese business, and I’ve got an idea for a series where I go to inner-city communities where people are struggling and then get to know people.” He declared that Discovery Channel is already eyeing his proposal. 

In 2018, Sean Wilson made his appearance for a brief period on Coronation Street, where his character Martin encountered his son David dealing with the aftermath of rape. The Martin actor said that the script was good, but Jack was doing it in a little bit of an awkward way. He revealed that despite initial discomfort, the director appreciated the authenticity, noting that the awkwardness captured was perfect.

The actor also teased the potential return for his character. With a smile, he shared, “I’ve had enough time to think, and my character’s connections within the show are extensive. He stated, “If you were to put all the characters within the show and Martin in the middle, with a line diagram, how many connections would he have? They’re all good connections, in my opinion.” He added that the depth of his character is such that editorial ideas might lead to a return, but the decision rests with the powers that be, and he is certainly open to it.
