The residents of Coronation Street are desperately waiting for the reopening of Rovers Return. The Rovers is the perfect drinking spot for everyone, especially during the holiday season. Here’s the good news- Rovers is set to ring on New Year’s Eve. Just around Christmas, Jenny and Daisy’s loan gets approved, and they become the official owners of Rovers. On top of that, Waterford’s agreed to reopen the pub on New Year’s Eve.

The old Rovers Return staff of Coronation Street, including Jenny, Daisy, Sean, Glenda, and Gemma, are back and ready to host the New Year party. Along with them, the whole village is getting the place ready for the reopening. The favorite will probably go through a bit of renovation as it was closed. But the Coronation Street show producer Iain MacLeod promised, “‘It’s not going to look radically different. He added, “I’d certainly feel like I don’t want it to be modernised and gastropubified or turned into a chain pub.”
