Coronation Street Stars Bethany And Daisy’s Real-Life Bond
We, as viewers, often get used to seeing on-screen enemies as people who must hate each other. However, Lucy Fallon and Charlotte Jordan prove that it’s definitely not the case. Bethany Platt actress Lucy recently confirmed her lovely bond with the on-screen enemy. The two characters are not very fond of each other because of their common love interest, Daniel Osbourne.
The Coronation Street actress expresses that it’s really great to get along with Charlotte in real life. She added, “I’ve now been put into Charlotte’s dressing room, and when I went in, I put two bottles of perfume on the table, and Charlotte actually had the two exact same perfumes, the same bag, and the same make of tracksuit on! So we are basically like the same person.”
The soap star, Lucy, even mentioned shooting emotionally intense scenes with Bethany. She revealed that she loves filming those scenes, especially because of the changed dynamics on the show now. According to her, when Bethany was in Weatherfield last time, she never had anyone who was super bitchy with her all of the time, which makes it more fun this time. Do you agree with her?
Lucy Reveals Bethany Feels “Threatened” By Daisy
While talking about her character’s ongoing storyline in Coronation Street, the actress reveals that Bethany definitely feels ‘threatened’ by Daisy. She asserted, “I do think the only reason that she would be so argumentative with Daisy is because she feels quite threatened by her. Additionally, she highlighted that Bethany is jealous of Daisy because of her bond with Bertie.
Coronation Street star Lucy thinks that Bethany and Daniel’s ‘unfinished business’ from their romance history is what keeps Bethany attached to Daniel. She added, “I think they both have the same interests, and he is very intelligent, which Bethany is too – Lucy not so much – but Bethany definitely.” The soap star does want her character to get back with Daniel, but she doubts if it’s right.
Lucy explained that Daniel and Daisy had just broken up as she cheated on him. But, they would’ve not if it had not happened so Bethany will always be in two minds about him being in love with Daisy.
