Daisy Is At Crossroads After Losing Both Daniel And Ryan
Recently, in Coronation Street, Daisy Midgeley’s affair with Ryan Connor was exposed. It led to Ryan’s exit from the Weatherfield and Daisy’s breakup with fiancee Daniel Osbourne. Daisy is fully aware it’s all her fault, and she can’t escape the consequences of her actions. In addition, the arrival of Bethany has added fuel to her already strained love life. In a conversation with the media, the Daisy actress revealed that Daisy is in a lot of pain, though she is hiding it all behind full face makeup and hopes for a reconciliation.
Now that Daisy has lost both Ryan and Daniel, she has had a lot on her plate. According to Charlotte, the makers are using the breakup to bring the dark side of her character back out. She added, “She feels she has nothing left to lose, so for lack of a better statement, The B***h is Back.”

Bethany has returned to the Coronation Street. Daisy has always been jealous of Bethany because, besides being Daniel’s ex, she is beautiful and successful, too. Therefore, her return affects Daisy in some way or another. When asked Charlotte if Bethany was a threat to Daisy to win Daniel back, she replied, “I wouldn’t necessarily refer to Daniel as a prize to be won – he’s also made some pretty manipulative moves which I think scream “red flag.” Jordan mentioned that Daisy would be hurt if Daniel moved on fast. She shared, “Daisy knows how royally she mucked it up, but we can live in hope that he does eventually find his way back to her.”
Coronation Street Star Shares Daisy’s Future Plans
Amidst her breakup, Daisy is super thrilled about re-opening the Rovers Return on New Year’s Eve. Jordan said, “Daisy is throwing all her energy onto the Rovers. It’s all she’s got left.” Calling co-ownership a ‘true soapy fashion,’ the Coronation Street actress hints at troubles between Daisy and Jenny regarding the Rovers. For the time being, Daisy is dedicated to renovating the pub she loves and has made efforts to save it. In Jordan’s words, Daisy will do everything she can to make it into a thriving business.
The Jenny and Daisy relationship is going to get intense in the coming time. In their relationship, Jenny has always been the ‘queen’ while Daisy is the sidekick, so now to match Daisy’s expectations and treat her as an equal would be hard for Jenny. While discussing Daisy’s future plans, the actress said, “I’d like her to focus on the Rovers and focus on becoming a successful, mini, secret landlady.”
The Coronation Street actress mentioned that Bethany and Daisy could be great friends. She stated, “Start throwing Daisy into different social circles on the show.
