Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans will experience an unprecedented schedule shake-up next week. The soaps will adjust their times to accommodate Britain’s Got Talent live shows. Emmerdale & Coronation Street Release Their Special Schedules

Coronation Street is changing its schedule later this month because Britain’s Got Talent is back with live shows. So, from Monday, May 27, to Friday, May 31, 2024, Coronation Street will have shorter episodes, only 30 minutes long. 

The show will air at 7:30 p.m., and Britain’s Got Talent will follow right after at 8 p.m., with a two-hour slot. This change will also affect Emmerdale. From Monday to Friday of that same week, the ITV soap will return to its old 7 p.m. slot. Hence, there will be no long episodes on Thursday, May 30.

However, Coronation Street and Emmerdale’s ongoing storylines are reaching their climax.
