Todd and Julie have been serving time in prison since the beginning of 2023. While the former’s prison sentence is for 12 years, his wife will be doing seven years. They are in separate correctional units too. Their eldest daughter Savannah Chrisley has been releasing episodes from her podcast, “Unlocked,” talking about their circumstances. She mentioned how her mother, Julie Chrisley sent her 30-40 days worth of handwritten letters. The Chrisley Knows Best matriarch often mentioned in her letter about missing her husband, Todd. That’s when Savannah Chrisley made a shocking revelation on her show.
She said that it had been four months since her parents talked to one another. Apparently, the Chrisley Knows Best couple has been married to one another for over 30 years. They never went a day without talking to one another, and how it had been four months since they did so. Fans began to speculate that Todd and Julie would most likely get a divorce. A fan pointed at a recent statistic saying that every year of incarceration adds to the odd that a pair’s marriage will end in a divorce by “35%”. This can happen either before or after they get out of prison.

In her previous episodes, Savannah Chrisley had talked about her father, Todd adjusting to his prison life well. However, things have been difficult for the other Chrisley Knows Best castmate, Julie Chrisley. Savannah mentioned her mother has been having a hard time, and in order to distract herself, she has been keeping herself “busy.” In fact, Julie is also focussing on her health, taking classes, being first at-bat, and so on. The young star also admitted how her mom has been trying to shield her family from a lot of things.
Savannah mentioned getting a bunch of letters from her mother. Apparently, Julie has sent journal-like letters to her daughter. It was also very difficult for the latter to read these messages considering the circumstances her mom was in. But Savannah mentioned that she would be some bits and pieces from her mother’s handwritten messages in her podcasts.
