On Friday, News Nation’s Brian Entin interviewed Todd Chrisley from prison via telephone. As the interview went on, the audience learned about the horrors of prison life. The star talked about the lack of proper food in prison. He also added that they were “starving the inmates.” Todd also described the food as being “out of date by, at minimum, a year.” However, nothing was more shocking than what he revealed next.
Todd revealed how someone had even tried to blackmail his daughter, and Chrisley Knows Best co-star, Savannah. Chrisley said someone had taken his photo while “he was sleeping.” If that wasn’t creepy enough, Todd added that the photographer had sent this photo to Savannah. They had blackmailed the star for her father’s safety, asking $2,600 a month.
However, the photograph incident is not a new development. Apparently, Todd’s attorney, Jay Surgent, had also talked about it in July. But Jay didn’t say anything about blackmailing. They were just pictures of Todd sleeping. Now, Todd has shared some more alarming details about prison.
The Chrisley Knows Best patriarch had also said that the staff wished to ‘humble’ him. He had heard them talking about making him go through “diesel therapy” and even “shackles.” But nothing freaked the fans out more than the ‘blackmail’ part. After much difficulty, News Nation’s Brian Entin was able to interview Todd Chrisley. The Chrisley Knows Best star talked from prison. And the things he spoke about were abysmal. Todd described life and prison and the kind of ‘care’ the inmates get. Not only is the food expired “by, at minimum a year,” it is also unsanitary.
Todd also said the inmates are “getting a thousand calories a day.” He said that the authorities are “starving these men to death.” And even Todd couldn’t escape this fate. Initially, Todd purchased just peanut butter, pasta, and tuna from the commissary. But the warden has reduced the ‘purchasable amount.’ And when Todd asked the reason, the warden “had not given” one.
The star’s safety is also a big question. Chrisley revealed that someone had taken his pictures while he was sleeping. They then used these pictures to blackmail his daughter, Savannah.
