Savannah Chrisley is having a tough year. The Chrisley Knows Best star’s parents are behind bars. And because of this, she got the custody of her two younger siblings. So, the star is understandably busy. But she takes time to go and meet her parents whenever she can.
Recently, Savannah was all set to go on one such trip, but she felt many emotions. She took to Instagram to express these emotions and revealed that she has anxiety now.
Chrisley Knows Best: Savannah Gets “Really Anxious” Before Trip To Parents
As a person with so many additional responsibilities, Savannah Chrisley had to grow up early. The Chrisley Knows Best star has custody of her two siblings while her parents are in prison. She tries to meet her parents when she can. However, the trip preparations take a mental toll on Savannah. She recently shared these emotions in one Instagram story.
USA Network star Savannah was feeling a “wave” of many emotions the night before visiting a parent. She had to prepare herself both mentally and emotionally. But this time, things were a lot for Savannah to keep in, so she took to Instagram. Savannah described her “anxious” emotional turmoil on an Instagram story.
The star wrote a lengthy message in her story about how she gets “anxious” the night before visiting her parents. Savannah talked about being unable to sleep or sit still. She had many emotions running through her mind, “anxiety, grief, sadness, happiness, etc.” She added that she had to get “up at 3 am” to “get ready and start driving.”
Savannah explained that only someone who has an “incarcerated” loved one will understand these feelings. The Chrisley Knows Best star also added a broken heart emoji to the post. Along with the text, a poll asked fans if their loved ones were also in prison.
However, she did not specify if she was going to meet her mom, Julie, or her dad, Todd. E!News also reported that Savannah had been feeling guilty lately. She used to visit her parents a lot in the initial period. But now that she has custody of two kids and a boyfriend, she can’t travel much. Savannah feels she isn’t doing “enough.”
Chrisley Knows Best: Savannah Posted A Whistle-Blower’s Letter On Instagram
Savannah Chrisley has been very vocal about pathetic living conditions in prison. And now, the star has uploaded an FPC whistle-blower letter on her Instagram in a Joint post. Savannah’s post with Todd shows the letter talking about Warden Salsburry’s “minions” hiding things from Deputy Director Lothrop. When the Deputy Director visited, in the Warden’s absence, the minions ensured he didn’t see the bad food and the mold.
Furthermore, the Warden was also guilty of “corruption” and “ignore(ing)” “Administrative Remedies.” Then, the Chrisley Knows Best star had written about the prison staff trying to shift her father, Todd, to a different prison. Savannah stated they were trying to do that to punish Todd. The letter also mentioned many things that Todd had accused the prison of in his interview.
