Recently, in an episode of Southern Tea, the diva revealed that she has never met her stepmother, Julie, in prison. She also shared when she last visited her father. Todd and Julie are in prison owing to allegations of tax evasion and fraud. She does not share a good relationship with her dad and stepmom.
Lindsie added that she had not seen her dad for quite some time. Her life completely changed after the s*x tape drama, and so did her equation with her parents. In 2022, the family reconciled, but it again worsened after the tax case. In January 2023, Todd and Julie were sent to serve their sentences at their respective federal prisons in Pensacola, Florida, and Lexington, Kentucky. Julie was later transferred to Florida’s Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna.

Julie Chrisley’s legal troubles continue as federal prosecutors reveal a significant error in her ruling report. The judge, in a ruling last September, mistakenly added two years to the Chrisley Knows Best star’s supervised release, exceeding the legal limit. This ‘plain error’ has raised the possibility of a resentencing hearing, potentially altering Julie’s fate.
As a result of the judge’s error, the prosecutors have strongly recommended that Julie’s case be returned to the district court for resentencing. This move could potentially see Julie’s five-year judgment reinstated. In September, Julie’s 84-month federal prison sentence was upheld by a judge after she was granted a resentencing hearing. Todd, too, made a request, but unfortunately, he was denied.
Chrisley Knows Best: Lindsie Chrisley Never Visited Julie In Prison
Lindsie Chrisley appeared on Chrisley Knows Best for the first few seasons. She then had a massive fallout with her father and brother. The s*x tape scandal changed her life. Later, when the tax evasion fraud cropped up, Lindsie did not stick with her patents. Unlike Savannah, who is adamant about bringing back her parents, Lindsie has a more casual approach. Now, the diva shared when she last met them.
Lindsie added that the last time she visited her dad was probably at the beginning of last year. She added that she and Faye initially met him at the prison together. Now, she doesn’t even honestly remember. Lindsie shared that it was more comfortable for both of them to go when they stayed in a hotel together. The star also revealed that she has never been to Lexington to visit Julie.
Lindsie added, “I have not seen my dad in quite some time, and I have had no contact. And that’s all I’m going to say about that.” Her relationship with the family has not been great for the past couple of years. They briefly reconciled but then were back to square one. It is clear that she has no relation with Julie. She also lost touch with Julie.
Julie and Todd have tried their best to avoid the arrest but to no avail. They then appealed to the government for a pardon. As of now, they are still in prison. The kids are trying their best to help them. Lindsie also does not have a great relationship with Savanah and her other half-siblings.
