Now, it seems that the couple is finally receiving some good news. Recently, the pair appealed in court after spending 15 months in court.
Their lawyer accused the prosecutors of working with the witnesses and pointed towards ‘misconduct’ in their case. A three-judge panel heard the reality TV star’s appeal and gave their decision. The trial judge calculated Julie’s sentence and found a legal error. Julie and Todd’s lawyers allegedly claimed that an IRS officer lied to the court when he testified that the pair still owed them taxes.
Moreover, the attorneys claimed that the prosecutors knew about the false testimony, and they didn’t take any steps to correct it. They also noted that the prosecutors failed to provide enough evidence to prove Julie’s fraud. Hence, the panel sent the case to the lower court to redo Julie’s case.
As per ABC News, the three-judge panel wanted the prosecutors to prove that Julie was part of the 2006 fraud. Chrisley’s attorney, Alex said, “We’re pleased that the Court agreed that Julie’s sentence was improper, but we’re obviously disappointed that it rejected Todd’s appeal.” Further, he noted that the Chrisleys have been looking forward to more good news in the upcoming months.

The reality TV celeb decided to include a hot dog lunch for her co-prisoners. Hence, it would help all her inmates enjoy a picnic-style meal after their visitation horse.
