Prince Harry: The Duke’s Effort Gets Wasted?
An insider believes it’s strange of Prince Harry not to swing by and check on Kate, who’s on the mend. The Duke didn’t even bother to meet his niece and nephews. They added, “It isn’t normal. It’s terribly sad.” Moreover, author Catherine Mayer revealed, “The family torment is an open sore. There is such a profound breach there.”
The rift in the Royal family runs deep, especially after Harry’s memoir Spare and his Netflix documentary with Meghan. Reports also suggest that Queen Camilla made sure not to leave King Charles and his son alone this time around. Royal writer Robert Lacey cited, “This is all to do with William’s wish to protect the institution of the monarchy.”
Additionally, Lacey spilled that William still doesn’t want Harry with the monarchy. He said, “I don’t think William will agree to readmission of Harry into the family unless he apologises and moves forward.” Well, the Duke of Sussex might get another chance to extend an olive branch to his family. It is during the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in May.
However, don’t expect the moon as Charles probably won’t be playing peacemaker between Harry and William. The brotherly reunion is not likely to be there on the horizon. Royal expert Ingrid Seward said the King would be happy upon Harry’s return. But Ingrid hinted that Charles was aware of this reunion being a far-fetched idea.
