After all this, one of the Brown family members recently mustered courage and talked about their bipolar disorder diagnosis on social media. Not only this, but the celeb also explained how things happened after their Psychotic Break! Who is this person?
Alaskan Bush People: Rain Brown Finally Talks About Her Bipolar Disorder
Rain Brown was one who got the most affected in the Alaskan Bush People family after Billy Brown’s death. She had a really rough patch in her life, and now it seems that she is finally ready to talk about it on social media.
Recently, Rain shared a lengthy video and discussed her mental health. Before starting, she made it a point that no one should be judged on the basis of their past. Rain then revealed that initially, she was a bit “apprehensive” to talk about her bipolar disorder. But then she felt the need to use her “voice” to “help” others.
Rain recalled how, in 2021, her grief of losing Billy “drowned” her completely. She explained how her brain couldn’t handle anything anymore, and she “went off somewhere else mentally.” The celeb added how she ended up forgetting her name and who she was as an individual.
Rain stated that not only did she forget herself, she started to think that she was somebody else. She confessed, “It was a very strange experience for me.” This was the time when the Alaskan Bush People star knew that she needed professional help.
Soon, Rain went to a clinic in Seattle, Washington, where she was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 disorder, PTSD, and generalized anxiety disorder. She stated how she was never aware of the fact that her depression was because of bipolar and not actual depression.
Alaskan Bush People: Rain Admits To Having A Psychotic Break!
Rain Brown admitted that she had a psychotic break after she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She explained that she didn’t do “bad things.” But the Alaskan Bush People celeb did accept throwing some stuff in the water that she shouldn’t have thrown in the first place.
Rain then took a sigh of relief and revealed that, with a smile, she was “in full remission” of her bipolar disorder. She also talked about her PTSD and stated that it was getting better and she was in “partial remission.” Rain seemed to be really happy when she admitted that this was basically the “close of a very long” and “arduous journey” for her.
Rain also added the National Crisis Line phone number in her post. Her main aim in talking about her mental health issues was to encourage people to seek help. She explained how things got better for her and that people who are dealing with the same shouldn’t hesitate to go for professional advice.
