DISCOVERY: BILLY AND AMI BROWN

Alaskan Bush People: What Is $500K Lawsuit All About?

Alaskan Bush People star Ami Brown has been dealing with Billy’s issues after his death. Apparently, it all started when Investor Robert Maughon filed for a lawsuit just two months after the patriarch’s death. It was on Billy’s Alaskan Wilderness Family Productions, and now Ami is listed as the “defendant” in the ongoing lawsuit.

The lawsuit involves “relative liabilities” and includes defenses of the noted “marital community.” Ami is also listed as the “personal representative” of Billy Bryan Brown’s estate. The noted investor claimed that he invested $20,000, and Billy claimed he would pay 10 percent of his income. However, Billy allegedly failed to pay, and now Robert is demanding $500,000 and a trial.

Alaskan Bush People Is Cancelled? But Why?

In the last few years, Alaskan Bush People have shown no signs of its renewal. While viewers have been eagerly waiting to see what the Brown family is up to, there is a fair chance that the franchise won’t return for another season at all. This is because fans have noticed some shocking clues that directly hint at the show’s abrupt cancelation!

As per several sources, Discovery Channel’s media page no longer has Alaskan Bush People’s name on it! The channel doesn’t list the show among its “properties,” while other shows like Naked and Afraid to Gold Rush are still on it. This is a clear sign that the channel isn’t planning to bring back the franchise anytime soon.

But that’s not all. Bear Brown also announced his own spinoff on social media, which raised eyebrows further. He revealed that he would be starting a show, Alaskan Bush People Behind The Scenes With Bear Brown. The celeb claimed that he would talk about behind-the-scenes dynamics and would start reviewing Season 1 of the franchise.

Apparently, if the Alaskan Bush People show was coming up with a new edition, Bear would have focused on it rather than starting a spinoff. Moreover, none of the other Brown family members have hinted at the filming of this show. This makes it clear that neither the channel nor the Brown family is perhaps looking forward to dragging a dead storyline for another season. What do you think? Do let us know in the comments.
