A few habits and practices of the Alaskan Bush People family do not resonate with the world. People find it weird and even shocking. During one of the episodes, Bird Brown was seen biting off the heads of multiple raw fishes. She believed it would bring good luck to the family’s crabbing expedition. Although, her siblings were repulsed as they heard bones cracking. The Brown daughter has also fed and raised several chickens in their house. However, she fears the idea of death regarding her surgery.
Followers of the Alaskan Bush People must be aware that Bird was recently diagnosed with ovarian tumors. Rain Brown took her sister for treatment in Alaska. Although doctors removed her two tumors through an emergency surgery procedure, she is susceptible to cancer. The cysts were cancerous and can reoccur. However, the fame will have to undergo a hysterectomy. This is result in the removal of the uterus for her to be cancer-free. If Bird agrees to the surgery, she will not be able to conceive children. In a recent episode, the 27-year-old flaunted her newly-discovered hair care method to brother Noah.
Bird Brown called it the ‘Bush Style’ method of hair cleansing. She knelt in mud and dirt and laid her hair flat, as per Looper. The 27-year-old continued rubbing her hair into it as much as possible. A few bugs also get caught in her hair which she is aware of. Although, she refuses to pay heed to the bugs and shows how luscious her hair looks. Noah removes his sister from the dirt and discourages her new method. Brown feels the dirt bath works like a dry shampoo and absorbs oil from the hair between wash days.
