Alaskan Bush People: Ami Brown Is Getting Sued For $500K! How Will She Deal With It?
Noted star Billy Brown owned Alaskan Wilderness Family Productions, which had to face a lawsuit from Investor Robert Maughon just two months after his death. But as per the current scenario, Amora “Ami” Brown from Alaskan Bush People has ended up getting listed as the “defendant” of the ongoing lawsuit.
Recently, TheSun exclusively revealed that as Billy Brown is identified as a “married person,” Ami would be the one who would be added as the main “defendant” now. It further stated, “Amora Brown is not prejudiced insofar.” This is because “she has been the effectively defending party” all throughout the noted proceedings.
The source revealed that the lawsuit involves the “relative liabilities” as well. It further has defenses of the noted “marital community.” In all this, Ami has a stake because they are a part of these proceedings. This is another reason why the matriarch would have to deal with the consequences.
The records also list Ami as the “personal representative” of the Estate of Billy Bryan Brown. So, as per the process, she would now “respectfully” join as the Defendant. The reports further revealed that Robert has amended the complaint and added Ami to the lawsuit. However, for now, the judge and Alaskan Bush People matriarch have not responded to the motion.
Alaskan Bush People: What Is This Lawsuit All About? Everything You Need To Know
Alaskan Bush People star Ami Brown has been dealing with Billy’s issues after his death. As per the reports, Robert, who is the noted investor, has made some severe claims against the late patriarch. He stated that he ended up entering into a “contract” with Billy on January 6, 2009. He further says that he invested $20,000.
Robert further says that Billy claimed that he would pay 10 percent of income that came from books, publications, and sales of Alaska Wilderness Family Productions. He claims that these payments would allegedly go for 10 years. So, as per the court papers, Billy ended up failing to pay “Plaintiff Robert Micky Maughon.” This was in reference to the monies for in the Ten Year contract.
Robert further mentioned another contract in the lawsuit. He claimed that he allegedly again invested $10,000 on January 25, 2009, which was a lifetime thing. Amid all this, the investor believes that the late star earned $500,000 per episode of Alaskan Bush People. So, now he is demanding $500,000 and a trial as well.
Now, Ami is the one who is dealing with all this chaos after Billy. However, it would be interesting to know if she would have to pay this hefty amount or not. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for all the latest Alaskan Bush People tea.
