Earlier 90 Day Fiance viewers called her a gold digger. Now, they are calling her a ‘scammer’. It seems like trouble doesn’t seem to end for Yara Zaya. The star recently launched her makeup like stating it is vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. Apparently, some fans took notice of some minute details that contradict the statement. Long story short, she is under fire yet again. Keep reading to know it all in detail!
90 Day Fiance: ‘Boujee by Yara’ Makeup Range Not Trustworthy!
Noted reality television star was anticipating her makeup line for a while now. However, it has merely been a few days since it got launched, and she’s in trouble. Turns out, a lot of netizens have called Yara out for “re-selling” her products at more than double the price. Turns out, some TLC viewers noticed that her products resemble the ones that are available on the popular Chinese e-commerce site Alibaba. The only difference between the two was the price range. The star’s goods had a much higher price range. Hence, the fans called the whole makeup range one big scam.
An account on Instagram by the name of @fraudedmedia also contributed to the expose. However, they said that their intentions were not to troll the reality star. The profile merely wanted the influencer’s followers to be well aware of the products they wish to invest in. With this, their video also contained a compilation of both the Chinese variation and Yara’s product for fans to compare. The post showcased a lipgloss bottle. The cheaper edition cost $8, while Yara’s makeup line had priced it at $22.
90 Day Fiance: Yara’s Products Fail The Vegan Certification Too!
Apart from extremely high pricing, another problematic aspect of Yara’s products is the vegan certification. On her social media handle, the TLC alum often claimed her product would be ‘100% vegan’. However, a follower alleged that one of her products has ‘beeswax’ listed in its ingredients. This means that the product isn’t vegan. When asked about the same, the TV star clarified that the product is ‘90%’ vegan. This baffled the followers even more as there is no in-between. Either the product is made vegan, or it is not.
Some Redditors emphasized that since the reality show celebrity is now an owner of a company. Hence, she should know every single detail about her products without fail. Despite such a huge backlash, neither Yara nor her husband Jovi has given a proper statement about the matter. However, the couple has limited the comment section of their Instagram handles together. The 90 Day Fiance viewers demand the right clarification for the fiasco as they could also get sued if all the allegations are true.
