Vanja revealed that she initially had a great life in Bosnia until the country became a war zone. She was just ten years old when she had to watch “missiles exploding” accompanied by violence and destruction! Grbic recalled, “The night sky was just lit up,” referring to the missiles exploding around her.
Vanja revealed that she was traveling back from her grandparents’ house when she learned about the new dynamics. She saw the land shaking and wasn’t able to get back home. Apparently, the celeb’s cousin was willing to know if Bozo was aware of this war drama or not. Vanja assured her that she had told each and everything to her new beau.
90 Day Fiance: Vanja Hardly Had Food, Water & Electricity Access During War Years
90 Day Fiance star Vanja was forced to stay at her grandmother’s house because of the missiles. Things deteriorated to the extent that she was deprived of basic necessities. The celeb struggled to get water and electricity for many months. Vanja further recalled how she simply had flour and onions for food. They used to boil them together and make a soup of it, which she called the “black soup.”
Vanja revealed that she didn’t have anything to eat and had to manage with the “black souple” for almost a year. She further left her audience in tears by talking about moments when she was on the verge of losing her life. The celeb explained how the opponents were bombing her city all the time and almost got killed several times. Apparently, terror was evident in her voice, and it was clear that all of these instances had traumatized her.
Vanja revealed that she sat in the basement for almost an entire day. She recalled air aids dropping around her while she could feel the ground shaking around her. However, the celeb has dealt with everything, and she has moved on. All of these are the main reasons why Vanja was able to relate to Bozo.
