Sumit and Jenny were one-of-a-kind couples on 90 Day Fiance during their debut. They were the only ones who had been together for over a decade with eachother before doing the show. While viewer had doubts about the stability of their relationship, the pair beautifully proved everyone wrong with their bond and chemistry on the show for many years.
After The Other Way, they also starred in Happily Ever After since they tied the knot. Sumit and Jenny resorted to marrying eachother in secret as his parents were against them. It had to do with their 30-year age difference. But at last, Sumit’s dad, Anil, came to terms with the whole thing. But his mother, Sahna, had had a massive breakdown earlier. Well, it looks like she has finally accepted Jenny Now!
90 Day Fiance: Sahna Finally Gives Her Blessings To Sumit & Jenny! Accepts Her Daughter In Law
As Happily Ever After began, Sumit had not yet revealed to his parents that he had married Jenny. So, one of the major highlights from the season was this issue. Well, the 90 Day Fiance couple had fessed up about the same in the first episode itself. That’s when Sumit’s mother had a massive breakdown. She disowned the two immediately.
Sahna went as far as saying that Sumit shouldn’t show his face even at her funeral. After such a massive incident, everyone was heartbroken. Yet, the former didn’t want to give up on his family. He was positive that one day, they would come around. By the time the Tell All episode aired, Sumit’s father, Anil, accepted Jenny, but his mother didn’t make an appearance.
Well, the new 90 Day Diaries episode is going to show a massive change of heart when it comes to Sumit’s mother. In a promo clip from ET, Sahna was seen saying she had accepted Jenny! She asked, “What else was there to do?” But concluded by saying, “As long as they (Sumit and Jenny) were happy,” Sumit’s parents were “happy, too.” 90 Day Fiance fans rejoiced at this.

While Sumit was sure after the fallout that his parents would come around, Jenny used to be quite upset. She couldn’t understand what she had done wrong that her husband’s parents disapproved of their bond. After all, she didn’t have control over her or his age difference. Yet, she was determined to gain acceptance from Sumit’s parents.
Jenny told Sumit’s parents in the new 90 Day Fiance spin-off episode that she was thankful that they were “finally loving her.” She also said she loved them, too, and they smiled in return. During her confessional, the American native said that what she got was “more than expected.” Sumit was at peace, as well, since the whole of his family was happy together at last.
Sumit expressed how it was “one of the best things he could get in his life.” Even the 90 Day Fiance fans had been rooting for the couple for so long.
