Stroudsburg dude Riley met his partner Violet via a Vietnamese dating app almost two years ago. This 90 Day Fiance couple has since been in a long-distance relationship. He is presently in Vietnam with his girlfriend. Since the beginning of the Before The 90 Days spin-off, Riley has revealed that he has serious trust issues. He even mentioned that he had earlier been cheated on by one of his girlfriends while the other one completely ghosted him. This has resulted in Riley being extremely conscious and apprehensive of his partner. His trust issues have also caused him to be rude and abrasive with his current girlfriend, Violet.
There have been numerous occasions where 90 Day Fiance franchise fans have observed Riley being mean and impolite with Violet. One such incident was shared by the 90 Day Fiance Instagram account earlier in the month of June. The video featured a video-call conversation between Riley and Violet, wherein Riley claimed that he couldn’t say “I Love You” to Violet. Instead, he chooses to show his middle finger to her in order to convey his love for her. Fans believe that this certainly is a weird way of expressing your emotions for your new partner merely because you have been hurt earlier.

Another instance where Riley did not treat her long-distance girlfriend well was when they first met. He set a bet with Violet to check who could avoid touching each other for the longest. This is certainly not the way she would have expected her boyfriend to greet her. One other time Riley became furious when he found out that she had other plans while he was in Vietnam. This American man crossed all the boundaries when he hired a private investigator to keep an eye on Violet and her whereabouts. His decision to go behind her back was the most inappropriate decision as it gushed his insecurities.
Being in troubled relationships in the past doesn’t give Riley a free ticket to be disrespectful and mean to his new partner. Instead of rushing himself into a new relationship, he must have prioritized practicing self-love.
