Natalie had opened up about these troubling times during her time on 90 Day Fiance spin-off The Single Life Season 3. She explained how her ex-husband, Mike Youngquist, came to her family’s rescue.
It turns out Natalie had to take Mike’s to help her mother get a ticket to fly out of Ukraine. She even got emotional during her segment. While calling her former partner a “real hero” and a “good man.” This kind gesture also impressed the viewers, and they lauded the Seattle resident for doing what was right while keeping his differences with Natalie aside.
