There has been a massive update in Yve and Mohamed’s case. The couple became famous after starring in the latest season of 90 Day Fiance. While they had very minor issues to go over, they tied the knot by the finale. But after the Tell-All episode premiered, the truth regarding their relationship came into the limelight. Apparently, Mohamed filed charges of assault and battery against his wife. This happened on August 15, 2022. But, Yve was also ready with a set of witnesses and other pieces of evidence to prove her innocence.
As of this year, it turns out that the prosecutors have “dismissed” the case. As per the court records obtained by the noted 90 Day Fiance Instagram page, @merrypants, the charges have been “dismissed” without “prejudice”. This means that the case can get filed again if there is more evidence supporting the charges. While Yve did not make a post about the same, she flaunted her new hair makeover with pink streaks. She talked of feeling like the “world” is her “oyster.” The fans deduced that it could be in reference to the court proceedings going in her favor.

In order to take it from him forcefully, Yvette allegedly got on top of him and tried to choke him with her knees. Mohamed eventually got out from under her but didn’t physically hurt her while doing so. Another incident had a very drunk Yve place both her hands on either side of his face. However, she didn’t hit him.
Soon, Yve’s defense team came into action. They had arranged for lots of witnesses and other evidence to support that no such thing happened. An audio recording revealed that while they had tons of verbal altercations, none of them turned physical. But now that Yve’s charges have been dismissed, the case won’t be going forward anymore.
