90 Day Fiance star Leida Margaretha has landed in a legal soup. Authorities arrested the reality show alum on Friday, January 24, 2025, on domestic weapons charges. They brought her to Adams County, Wisconsin, at approximately 10 pm. She has multiple charges on her, like mistreatment of animals and domestic disorderly conduct while armed with deadly weapons.
Prosecutors also accused Leida Margaretha of a felony bail jump. She has a court date on January 27, 2025. The judge may grant her bail at the hearing after trial. 90-Day Fiance blogger John Yates was the first to report the incident and revealed that Leida had dangerous weapons when arrested. Just a few days before the police arrested her, Leida accused her husband, Eric Rosenbrook, of domestic abuse.
90 Day Fiance: Leida Margaretha Was Previously Arrested On Felony Charges
This is not the first time authorities have arrested Leida Margaretha. Back in October 2023, they arrested her on charges of theft and wire fraud. At that time, she was working as a bookkeeper for Loggerhead Deco. They alleged that she made unauthorized withdrawals from the company. They estimated that she withdrew thousands of dollars.
The authorities also booked the 90 Day Fiance star under multiple felony charges, which included bail jumping. Later, on December 2023, the judge overruled the charges. After the trial sessions, the court concluded that there was not enough evidence on the felony charges. So, due to insufficient evidence, the District Attorney did not proceed further with the case. However, not all her charges have been dismissed. Charges of bail jumping and business theft remained active in the court of law.
90 Day Fiance: Leida Margaretha Arrested On Domestic While Armed After Accusing Her Husband For Abuse
90 Day Fiance star Leida Margaretha accused her husband, Eric, of domestic abuse before she got arrested on January 27, 2025. Sharing a photo of her scars on Instagram, Leida wrote, “MY HUSBAND PHYSICALLY ABUSED ME. I WON’T BE SILENT ANYMORE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.” There were bruises on her face, eyes, and neck. Leida also shared that back in 2024, she had already filed for divorce.
In a conversation with In Touch, Leida’s estranged husband, Eric, shared that it is not the full story. He did not refuse the accusations of abuse but added that Leida has not revealed that entire story. A few days after the social media outburst, Leida was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct while armed with a dangerous weapon. Disorderly conduct and mistreatment of animals are both misdemeanors.
If proven guilty, authorities will imprison Leida for a minimum of 90 days for disorderly conduct. However, they can jail her for six to nine months for carrying dangerous weapons. For the unversed, bail jumping means someone accused Leida of violating bond conditions, including committing no crimes. She was out on bail on bond from her 2023 felony fraud arrest.
Leida and Eric gained fame after their stint in 90 Day Fiance season 6, which aired in 2018. Leida is an Indinesi native and was hared by the masses after she forced Eric’s daughter to move out.
