Ben, 52, from Fraser, Michigan, belongs to a strict conservative religious society. The former pastor had found himself homeless while searching for his true identity. However, Ben’s life completely changed after he debuted in a fitness magazine. Since then, he’s been working as a fitness model. But to our surprise, his picture sparked the interest of a Peruvian girl, Mahogany, 24. In the previous episode, Ben told his ex-wife and children that he’s dating the new girl, who’s 28 years younger than him.
While his kids think he’s being catfished, Ben adamantly tells them that she’s real and that God brought them together. However, Mahogany’s pictures appear heavily filtered, which raised his kids and the audience’s concerns. Many think she isn’t real and could be a catfish who is trying to trap him for money. Further, on Reddit, many shared some old photos of Mahogany’s mother’s Facebook. They look quite different from the pictures that Ben has. Thus, the issue let many believe that she photoshopped herself into an AI-generated model.
When Ben showed his girlfriend’s picture to his 14-year-old daughter Joy, she quickly called her fake. That’s the fakest picture she has ever seen in her entire life, she stated. But Ben defended Mahogany and said that she’s perhaps using a great camera. Well, did we tell you he said the same things to his friends as well? So when he showed her pictures to his friend circle, they too called her fake. They also asked whether she ever asked for money. To this, Ben replied that she did indeed ask for a loan of $1,000. Thus, everyone thinks that she might be here for money only.

In the previous episode, Ben revealed his relationship with Mahogany. However, everyone thinks that the girl is fake and could be a catfish. To counter these doubts, Ben argued that he chats with the Peruvian girl daily, and they know each other very well. In order to prove his friends wrong, he asked the 24-year-old to share a video of her. In the clip, “Hi,” she said in Spanish, “It’s Mahogany, right here, it’s Mahogany.” Yet, one of his friends said it was a bit sketchy. Despite everything, Ben defended his girlfriend, claiming that she’s just shy.
Let us tell you that it isn’t the first time Ben got catfished. He revealed in the confessional that he had been catfished before. The 52-year-old added that he took a few weeks to understand that he was talking to a man. It hurts, he sighed. But believes that the Mahogany case is different. He also thinks that she’s a bit shy to video call but still, he’s fine with it and wants to marry her.
