Hailing from Philadelphia, Corona has decided to leave everything behind to start a new life with Iceland’s Ingi. Interestingly, Corona and Ingi haven’t even discussed engagement yet. Despite this, Corona is giving up midwifery studies to build a life with Ingi in Iceland. 90 Day Fiance: Ingi’s Mother’s This Move Shocks Corona!
Corona and Ingi met during a party in Iceland and have been talking online ever since. Before filming 90 Day Fiance, they had spent a total of 20 days together in person. Despite this brief time, the pair seems to be growing more serious about their relationship in the latest episode of the show. Previously, 30-year-old Corona made the significant decision to leave her life in the U.S. to move to Iceland and be with Ingi.
Notably, Corona let go of her midwifery school in the U.S. to settle with Ingi while he, having a business in Iceland, didn’t want to relocate. Now living in Iceland, Corona is adjusting to her new life, and Ingi is making efforts to welcome her as a part of his family. In the latest episode, he introduced Corona to his parents. The meeting was warm, and Corona even spoke a few Icelandic phrases.
Ingi’s mother brought a bouquet of pink roses for the 90 Day Fiance star. Corona spoke fondly to the cameras about their warm and welcoming nature. However, the scene takes an interesting turn when Ingi’s mother begins touching Corona’s braids while speaking to her in the kitchen. She also asks Corona how she does her hair, prompting the latter to show her.
“I was shocked. His mom just went for a handful of hair,” Corona revealed in a private confessional. She mentioned that she usually doesn’t let people touch her hair. However, she let this incident slide because she wanted to make a good impression. “Honestly, she could’ve asked if she could chop one off and take it home, and I would’ve said yes,” she added.

Corona met Ingi while visiting a party in Iceland, where he offered her his bed after noticing how exhausted she looked. Soon after, sparks flew and the pair began dating online. However, according to an interview Ingi gave to an Icelandic news website, the couple is no longer together.
Interestingly, their relationship was already on the brink of a breakup when Corona sent an email to the network as a “joke.” After spending two months in Iceland, Corona flew back to the U.S. She is now studying midwifery at an Ivy League university.
