Sam Wilson has finally married the love of his life, Citra, in Season 10. 90 Day Fiance viewers have been happy to see the couple finally making it to the aisle. The former’s legal issues have been the biggest roadblock in his marriage. Recently, Starcasm revealed the additional details of his arrest to help viewers get an insight into the court case.
The officials pulled over the TLC star and the woman he was traveling with for speeding on March 27, 2023. Initially, they charged him with felony possession of cocaine and felony possession of buprenorphine. Moreover, the officials also accused him of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. However, the cocaine charges were dismissed recently.
The affidavit by an official revealed that they pulled over a 24-year-old female driver of an SUV after going 94 mph in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 35. She had a suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance. Moreover, the officials smelled the odor of marijuana from the vehicle, and the lady admitted to having it in the SUV. After the deputy looked in the back seat, the court details revealed that things went south for the 90 Day Fiance star.
They found a plastic bag with marks of Wilson’s ownership. The bag contained ten clean syringes, a bottle cap with a white residue, a glove that held three syringes, and a sock that held seven syringes. Unfortunately, they found the presence of cocaine in the clear liquid. Further, the backpack also included a plastic back along with the prescription issued for Sam’s brother, Timothy Wilson.
90 Day Fiance: Sam Wilson Approved For Diversion Program!
90 Day Fiance star Sam Wilson came into the spotlight for his legal battle due to the drug possession case. He was arrested for one of his business trips in early February. Later, in October, the court approved his diversion program. The TLC star was admitted to the program in December 2023. He had to abide by the strict rules and regulations as part of the same for one year.
The court also required Wilson to take counseling and random drug testing. They prohibited him from taking any drugs, including alcohol, till the program. Recently, he traveled to Indonesia to tie the knot with Citra after getting permission from the authorities. However, he had to make sure to submit to a random drug test in Indonesia in case they required it.
