Moreover, he didn’t stand up for Kalani when his mom and sister attacked them for not sending money to them. After putting his family in danger by not taking the coronavirus seriously, Asuelu behaved like a child in the Tell All. When Kalani started pointing out what was wrong, he walked away at the hint of a confrontation. His defensive behavior indicated that nothing might have saved the couple from a nasty split. No wonder some fans call him Kalani’s third child.
However, unlike fans’ expectations, they’re still together. However, they have plenty of unresolved issues and their relationship is at a work in progress stage. Kalani agreed that the pandemic took a toll on their marriage as it did for most couples. But they’ve been experiencing small changes every day that count. They’re trying their best to make things work.
Asuelu Says He Stopped Hanging Out With His Friends
Asuelu mentioned that he has been more careful about the virus and has stopped randomly hanging out with his friends. He currently has a job at the rideshare services and isn’t able to keep up with the Polynesian dancing as some members are COVID-19 positive. Kalani is happy about Asuelu being cautious which is a ray of hope for their previously crumbling marriage.
Kalani also mentioned that when people attacked him for treating Kalani the way he did, he realized how wrong he was. So, according to her, in a way, their fights airing on TV was a good thing for their marriage. They’ve made their return to reality TV by participating in another 90 Day Fiance spinoff, Love Games.

Asuelu revealed that Low, Kalani’s father has been spending a lot of time with him lately. He is even teaching him golf and they’re like BFFs now!
