The celeb even discussed his carjacking incident during the premiere episode. However, Muniz admitted that there was a lot more to the story, and Ingrid wasn’t really aware of the complete truth yet.
Before making a debut on the 90 Day Fiance franchise, Brian appeared on the Charlie Smith Speaks podcast and revealed that he was a drug dealer during his teenage days. He recalled how his neighborhood only had “gangs and drugs and low-income housing.” Hence, Muniz was really inspired to become a drug dealer because his grandfather also belonged to a “mafia.”
Brian was introduced to marijuana when he was merely 16 and started selling it for more income. He further began smoking cocaine, which eventually started ruining his life and marriage. 90 Day Fiance star Brian’s dark phase further affected his marriage with the cocaine supplier, and he moved out of his house. He again got busy in his life until the most unfortunate carjacking incident occurred. The celeb narrated how he saw two guys across the street when he parked his car. However, he didn’t really pay heed to them until they came to his vehicle.
Brian claimed that one of them asked him to get out as he warned him that he had a gun. However, the former was roughly 200-210 pounds, and he felt that he would deal with them alone. Soon, things went south, and one of them ended up shooting Brian in his spine. The celeb admitted that he felt paralysis at the moment as he wasn’t able to move his body at all.
