For instance, David is a deaf man from America who traveled all the way to meet his girlfriend in the Philippines. However, his first day didn’t go as per his plans, and he was somewhat scared. He had a list of issues almost immediately after getting into the country. Upon watching the episode, many fans were reminded of the infamous episode featuring Big Ed when he visited Rose Vega’s home country.
90 Day Fiance: David Gets Scared After Meeting Sheila In Philipines! Cultural Shock Hits Him Hard
David is the newest 90 Day Fiance castmate and already has a lot of supporters. His willingness to travel to the Philippines to meet his lover, Sheila, despite being hearing impaired moved fans. However, the latest episodes revealed that his first day in the new country didn’t go as planned. It all began when the star complained about excessive motorcycles on the road. Then, the place where we had lunch made him uneasy because of the lack of proper sanitation. The real trouble came when David had to use the loo and realized it was out of service.
So, Sheila had to assist him to a confined corner, and he did his business there publically. David from 90 Day Fiance defended himself by saying it was an emergency and he really needed to pee. That’s not all. The hotel where the couple was staying caused issues too. One of the walls in his hotel room was falling apart, and then David also spotted an insect there that he instantly smashed. But in the end, he joined the twin beds so he could put an end to his stressful first day while snuggling up to Sheila. Fans sympathized with David but lauded him for not being a brat for any of the inconveniences.
90 Day Fiance: Big Ed Had A Similar Reaction When In Philipines, Got Trolled Instead!
While David and Sheila have been trying to make the best out of the situation, Big Ed’s case is different. The noted 90 Day Fiance star had a very different reaction when he, too, came to the Philippines to meet Rose Vega. Instead of being respectful, he said his partner’s living conditions were “very bad.” He was also surprised at the lack of windows as he looked at the scaffolding. Then when the couple roamed the market, he also complained about the lack of AC. At the same time, there was another shocking moment in Big Ed’s journey when he encountered a rat while taking a bath in Rose’s residence.
However, fans still feel David has been doing a much better job than Big Ed. They often shamed the latter for being very disrespectful and rude towards Rose and her family members. There were many moments in the show where she often cried after Big Ed would hurl insults at her. But David and Sheila’s case is different.
