Another critic pointed out that both Tiffany and Ronald were wearing their seat belt at the time the kids were in danger. In fact, one Redditor said that they wanted to give Tiffany the benefit of the doubt as kids are prone to taking off their seatbelts. However, the fact that she ignored it after looking at Daniel plenty of times didn’t go well with fans.

Dr. Kirk Honda pointed out in his YouTube series that the behavior of the couple might be troublesome. Ronald was adamant about making perfect Christmas decorations to increase the chances of Daniel staying in South Africa.
He pointed out that there is no harm in kids being decisive. However, he also said that the couple is using him as a pawn or a communication device. He continued to highlight Ronald’s insecurities and accused him of using Daniel to impress Tiffany.
Dr. Kirk thinks that if this continues, Daniel might end up blaming himself for what happens in their relationship. He also explained that this kind of triangulation is sufficient to ruin his childhood. The fact that Daniel talks so naturally is a sign that his childhood has already been taken away. He warns that children who don’t get to live their childhood as they should end up being severely resentful adults.
