Chantel Everett turned herself inside out while trying to make her marriage with Pedro Jimeno work in the previous season of The Family Chantel. Alas, the stars weren’t in their favor. Her fans were happy for her, considering how toxic Pedro and the rest of the family got with her. Well, it looks like Chantel is still not on good terms with her in-laws, even after their divorce. That’s because she shared a rather cryptic message on her Instagram. Many 90 Day Fiance fans feel it was her taking a dig at her mother-in-law, Lidia.
Many fans must know that Lidia decided to join the 90 Day Fiance franchise, too, as a main castmate. She starred in the Love In Paradise spin-off with her boyfriend, Scott. Their relationship fell apart devastatingly, and Scott ended up dumping her on camera. It looks like Lidia’s former daughter-in-law also had something to say about the relationship. She put up a picture of a bonfire with the caption, “Karma is a b***h.” While Chantel didn’t say if this post was about Lidia, fans were sure it was pretty obvious.
Many of them supported Chantel and said that Lidia humiliated her many times on screen. Hence, it served her right when the same thing happened to her during her relationship with Scott. So far, the 90 Day Fiance has neither confirmed nor denied that she was addressing the post to Pedro’s mother.
90 Day Fiance: Scott Defends Himself While Lidia’s Daughter Nicole Slams Him!
Lidia and Scott became a couple and depicted their journey of togetherness on 90 Day Fiance: Love In Paradise. As they met each other for the first time in person, it didn’t go as planned. The language barrier began annoying the American man, and he broke up with Lidia over a translator. That’s when her daughter, Nicole, came to her rescue. In an embarrassing conversation, she called Scott all sorts of names and a “bad man.” She accused him of being a sugar daddy while saying the only reason a young woman would be with him would be just for money.
When Scott had had enough, he began fighting back. He told Nicole that he wasn’t intimidated by her screaming or insults. He wanted to end the relationship in a civil manner. The new castmate urged the camera crew to let him bring his own kids so they could defend their dad. He found it unfair that Nicole was fighting for Lidia when he had no one to rely on. At last, he walked off angrily away from the filming crew. It is pretty evident that the couple is done for good now and won’t reconcile.
