Amanda Wilhelm, the new addition to 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, had a tragic past. These tragedies also include losing her near and dear ones. Her husband, Jason Wilhelm, passed away in March 2022 after losing his battle with ampullary cancer. Besides losing her husband of 8 years, Amanda even lost her sister, Ashley, merely a month after his death. She was accompanied by another one of her sisters Amber who stood by her side while she mourned the death of her loved ones. 90 Day Fiance: Amanda’s Sister Amber Has A Criminal History, But Is Sober Now!
Sister Amanda and Amber had faced their fair share of struggles since losing their loved ones. The new 90 Day Fiance celeb had faced trouble raising her two kids after the unexpected death of her husband. While Amber has struggled with drug addiction. However, she has completely changed over the past year, for she is now engaged and sober. In November last year, Amber uploaded a Facebook post wherein she talked about drug addiction.
She even shared that her sister Amanda was moving to Ohio. Amber felt grateful while captioning this post. As per Starcasm, Amber recalled, “Before I went to prison, people would ask me ‘Don’t u wanna get clean?’ I’d tell em ‘hell no! I love getting high!” She then added that she can now never think of going back to being addicted. Amber then expressed excitement as she mentioned that Amanda was moving from Louisiana to Ohio. She then added that her sister is moving to be near her and stated, “I get to help navigate my niece and nephew through life.” While concluding, Amber specified that she considers herself fortunate to have found the love of her life.
She even claimed that although her life is not perfect, she is on the right track for once. In August last year, she posted another Facebook post, sharing her mugshot photo. She captioned the post, “Overdose awareness!!! 💜💜”, then urged her followers to post two pictures, one from active addiction and the other from recovery. She mentioned that this would show that “WE DO RECOVER!” She even offered help to her followers by stating, “If you’re struggling with addiction, you are not alone help is available. Message me any time.”
90 Day Fiance: How Amanda’s Sister Amber Ended Up In Prison!
Amber Green has been arrested and put in jail several times. In 2016 she was arrested and imprisoned for stealing a car with a man who had a gun. In 2019, she and two men were arrested for “the largest crystal meth bust in Belmont County to date.” At the time of this arrest, she was already charged with drug possession, assault, theft, brandishing a weapon, and producing a false identification.
Despite all this, Amber Green seems to have put her life together. This sister of the 90 Day Fiance star Amanda Wilhelm even oozed happiness as she recently shared her accomplishment that she has had a job for the past year.
