Then, in February 2025, Akinyi and Benjamin announced the arrival of their sweet baby girl, Rue. They said that she was their answered prayers and testament to God’s love. 90 Day Fiance: Akinyi Announces Hospitalization! Unable To Breastfeed Her Newborn
As Benjamin and Akinyi entered this new phase in their live, 90 Day Fiance fans were very happy for them. They used their social media to document various stages of their pregnancy. Viewers were delighted to see their joy because they knew how they had prayed day and night to wish for a newborn in their lives. Baby Rue’s arrival has been the biggest blessing for them.
However, Akinyi shared something concerning about her health in a recent Instagram story. It had a picture of her husband, Ben, holding onto their baby next to a hospital bed. Apparently, the star had to get hospitalized for mastitis. It is an infection of the breast tissue that results in breast pain, swelling, warmth, and redness, often accompanied by flu-like symptoms.
It commonly occurs in breastfeeding women but can also affect others due to various causes, including blocked milk ducts or bacterial infections. Akinyi also shared that she had to undergo a biopsy on her breasts and then shared pictures of breast pumps in which the supply was red because of the blood. She was upset that she wasn’t able to feed her baby girl.
