Trent and his sister Heidi took the decision that it was time to put their father in a nursing home, as he required 24/7 assistance. Meanwhile, his sister stepped up to let their mom move in with them as she didn’t want assisted living. It was a tough moment for the family to come to terms with the fact that Trent’s father’s health wasn’t robust.
7 Little Johnstons: Where Is Trent’s Father Now? Has He Recovered?
It’s obvious that the 7 Little Johnstons filmed the current season of the show almost a year ago. Hence, a lot has happened in the current timeline that TV is not capturing via episodes. After seeing Trent’s father’s ailing health, everyone was concerned. After all, living in a nursing home was the right decision for him, but it’s never easy to stay away from family.
Hence, after watching the new episode, everyone wanted an update about the situation. An avid fan who has consistently followed the cast members’ social media made a shocking update. They revealed that the family had put up a story on Instagram saying that their beloved Poppy passed away in April 2024. It was a heavy moment for the Johnstons.
While the new season of the show has just depicted the family’s decision to put him in a nursing home, chances are they will also show how Poppy’s demise affected Trent in the upcoming episodes of the season.
