The 7 Little Johnstons are fan-favourites of the TLC audience. All the kids have grown up on the TV screen of the fans. They are now adults, and one of them even has a family of her own. Amber and Trent’s daughter Liz is now a mom to baby Leighton.
Liz gave birth to her baby girl on November 3, 2023. And ever since then, little Leighton has been the darling of the family and the center of attention. Every family member loves being with the baby. And Trent is definitely in love with his title of Grandpa.

The Johnston family had only seven members when they first appeared on TLC. However, they now have two new additions to the family. The first addition was Liz’s boyfriend, Brice. Liz and Brice started dating in 2018. They soon moved in together as well. But there was a time when the fans feared the pair had broken up.
That didn’t happen, and Liz and Brice even had a daughter. 7 Little Johnstons fans were delighted when they heard about Leighton’s birth. Liz had announced the news on her Instagram in a joint post with Brice. Many fans congratulated the new parents and the whole family in the comments. Since that day, all the family members have been sharing pictures of the sweet girl.
The whole Johnston family is enjoying their new roles. While Emma, Ana, Jonah, and Alex are aunts and uncles, Amber and Trent are the grandparents. Fans were worried that the pair wouldn’t accept their daughter’s child born out of wedlock. The TLC star was sitting on a sofa, cuddling little Leighton, who was snoring away on Trent’s shoulder. Fans loved the photo and found it adorable when Trent said it “doesn’t get better than this.” It looks like he is also deeply in love with the little darling.
7 Little Johnstons: Liz Is Working Again As Her Maternity Leave Comes To An End
Liz Johnston was on maternity leave as she had a baby in November. But she is going back to work now. The 7 Little Johnstons star had shared the news with her fans on Instagram. She also told her fans that she’d have to be away from her daughter for long periods as she couldn’t take Leighton to work with her. In a new Instagram story, Liz announced that she had completed her first week back to work.
She posted a picture of Leighton in a car seat to make the announcement. The baby looked adorable in her white onesie with red hearts. She had one of her fists in her mouth and the other on her chest. Liz had added two stickers, one of “Good Morning” and the other of a grinning coffee mug, to the photo.
