The relationship between Liz and her average-sized boyfriend, Brice, has been a popular highlight of 7 Little Johnstons. Many fans adore their relationship, making them a favorite couple on the show. Many were crushed to hear about Liz and Brice’s separation. However, they were even more surprised to learn that she was pregnant with his child.
After the birth of their daughter, Leighton Drew Bolden, in November 2023, the couple has been working on their relationship. And, it appears their efforts are fruitful. During an episode on June 18, Trent teased that his daughter Liz and Brice are planning to get married after welcoming their baby. “I would hope that they continue this relationship and one day get married,” he said in a private confessional. “Do I see it next year? I don’t know.”
Trent pictures a wedding where Liz and Brice’s daughter is the flower girl. “Do I see it two years from now and Leighton being the little flower girl standing in the middle of her mom and dad, when she’s two years old at their wedding?” he explained. “That would be fine too.”
It appears that Liz’s mother Amber also approves of their relationship. “Including Brice in the photo shoot, we are photographing our current life,” she said in a confessional during the episode. “And these are the people that are going to be in Leighton’s life no matter what the future holds.”

During a May 14 episode of “7 Little Johnstons,” Liz revealed that she is pregnant with Brice’s baby. This surprised fans, as she had previously announced their separation. However, the episode revealed that the couple had not only come back together but were also 21 weeks pregnant. In an interview on May 15, Liz candidly spoke about how welcoming their first child together brought the couple closer.
“Things with Brice and I now have been a lot better than they were before,” she told Access Hollywood. “Definitely give credit to Leighton, it definitely has put Brice and I on a new journey than just, you know, from high school to dating to moving out.” She went on to admit that Leighton had not only brought them “closer together” but also helped them learn more about each other.
