7 Little Johnstons star Liz Johnston had difficulty convincing her partner, Brice, to have another baby. In an interview with People magazine, she revealed how she has been settling into motherhood with her firstborn. She said that she loves being a mom and is open to welcoming a second baby with the love of her life.
However, according to Liz, Brice still showed traumatic signs with her C-section since he saw that for the first time. She explained, “I’m used to surgeries… but that whole aspect was very new and kind of scared him.” Even though Brice disagreed with her proposal, she might try hitting him with that when Leighton becomes a little older or starts attending school. She wished for a baby boy because Trent joked that her daughter has Brice’s features. So, she wanted to see herself in her boy.

An exclusive clip from the January 21 episode showed that 7 Little Johnstons star Liz went back to work after months of caring for her daughter Leighton. Luckily, she had her mother, Amber, through the huge transition. Amber shared that she herself didn’t choose daycare for Jonah and Liz, given that she sometimes had to leave one of them.
Amber and Liz discussed why heading out to work for the first time in two years has become a challenge. “It’s hard, but you will survive, I promise,” Amber advised Liz. She told her daughter that things would become much easier as Leighton was about to get older. “That’s the thing,” Liz said to Amber.
Liz added that Leighton is still a baby, and it’s different when they become toddlers. She held her little one and cooed at her, stating that whatever she was doing was all for her. Amber was happy to have her grandchild under her watch and not in a daycare. Even Liz thanked her for her support through Leighton’s health scares.
While walking towards the door, Liz had some difficulty despite Amber telling her it was time for her to leave. She informed Amber that she expects a photo of Leighton every hour.
