The trailer of the new installment features Jonah bravely announcing the news in front of his parents. Then, Trent and Amber help him pack things up for him and set up his new place. However, we later get to know that another important person in Jonah’s life has no idea that he has moved out.
The trailer features the family going on a vacation for Emma and Alex’s sixteenth birthdays. Aside from the 7 Little Johnstons family, Liz’s boyfriend Brice and Jonah’s girlfriend, Ashley, also accompanied them. During this trip, Jonah reveals the truth to his girlfriend. Back at home, Amber was shocked that his son hid such a huge detail about his life from his partner. The 22-year-old explained that it would look foolish on his part if he told her about the move after he had taken the step already. There are chances that he hid the detail from his girlfriend because he didn’t want her to live with him.

One of the sweetest relationships on the show besides Trent and Amber would surely be of Elizabeth and her boyfriend, Brice. The latter often appears on the show these days, and the Johnston family is slowly getting used to him. In the trailer of the new season, the couple celebrates their second dating anniversary. In a pretty romantic setup, they watch a movie together. Later on, Liz asked her BF about when he plans to move out of his own house. Brice replied that he desired to live with Elizabeth in the new place she was living in.
