Jonah had the scare of his life when he accidently consumed a marijuana strain of Delta 8. He understood it wasn’t good and strove to turn his life around. The 7 Little Johnstons star is now on a path to better mental health. In fact, he found just the way to do it. Jonah is busy pursuing his new hobby of barbequing.
The star revealed he loves “smoking meats.” He also practices art with his friend, Brian. Jonah also revealed that barbequing helps him feel good. And now, he is putting his hobby to some more use. Jonah’s girlfriend Ashley is visiting him, and the star has decided to surprise her. He will use his barbequing skills to woo his girlfriend, giving her a pleasant surprise.
An exclusive sneak peek from Popculture revealed Jonah’s sweet surprise in the upcoming episode. Fans saw Jonah surprising Ashley to up “the game.” He and Ashley round the corner, and the fans see a cute barbecue meal with a red checkered tablecloth and homemade food. Ashley is in shock and says it’s “nice.” However, Jonah is hoping “it’s better than Carolina style.”
Ashley loved the surprise. She told the cameras that she had never expected such a “lovely meal.” Jonah hadn’t told her “what the plans were,” so this was a pleasant surprise. The two dug in, and Jonah encouraged Ashley to eat with her hands. She was worried about making a mess, but the 7 Little Johnstons star said, “That’s the whole point.”
Jonah was relieved when Ashley said he “did a good job.” In the confessional, Ashley said Jonah has never “done anything like that.” The former protests, but Ashley just sweetly told him to “surprise” her “more.”

After his Delta 8 scare, Jonah wanted to improve his mental health. Luckily, he found just the thing. While having lunch with Anna and Liz, Jonah talked about his love for “smoking meats.” The activity brings Jonah “great joy.” He also practices the skill with his friend Brian.
Jonah’s hobby is good for his mental health. The 7 Little Johnstons star said he “didn’t realize” how happy barbequing made him “until” after “he was done.” Liz is just happy the activity improves “his (physical and mental) health.”
