When paramedics reached her house on July 20, she was found unresponsive. They tried to revive her using CPR, but their efforts were unsuccessful. She was finally declared dead at the scene.
The Henrico County Police Department was investigating the case as they responded to a medical emergency involving an unconscious adult woman. During their statement with People, they acknowledged the use of life-saving measures to resuscitate the 16 And Pregnant star. However, they stated that nothing proved effective as she was already spot-dead.

Recently, the Virginia Department of Health issued statements disclosing the real causes behind Autumn Crittendon’s tragic death. According to reports, the star died due to toxicity as they found fentanyl and para or meta-fluoro fentanyl in her body. They stated the incident was an accidental overdose. Both the substances are potent synthetic opioids which took her life.
Reports also suggested that Autumn was suffering from multiple health problems, including diabetes, kidney-related problems, and high blood pressure. While all these might have contributed to her deteriorated health condition, they weren’t the main causes of her untimely demise.
