The season finale has had a lot to offer about Tammy’s life. The reality TV star is struggling with depression and other reckless habits. Her family and friends fear for her life. However, Tammy has previously said that she will live how she wants. Meanwhile, Amy and the others have already claimed that Tammy doesn’t have a long time. So, when Dr. Smith visited her. He asked her if she was willing to go back to rehab. Tammy said yes, and then Chris drove her back to rehab. But things took a shocking turn, and the situation for Tammy worsened.
Chris and her wife got a call that the 1000 Lb Sisters Tammy’s lungs had given up. More so, her body stopped functioning and started to shut down. Everyone was unsure as to what the future held. The elder sibling’s sister Amanda said they were in the situation to make funeral arrangements for Tammy. The reality TV star was in a bad place for too long. More so, she even waited too long to accept her unhealthy habits. Hence, now when she gets the chance and courage to get help. Her lungs started to give up.
According to the family members, even the doctors were unsure if Tammy could make it. However, the doctors put her on a ventilator and a medically induced coma. “She woke up,” said Chris. Tammy woke up by the grace of God and kept telling her family that she loved them and wanted to go home.
1000 Lb Sisters: How Is Tammy Doing Now?
The recent incidents that have been happening with Tammy are surprising. No one would have ever thought that the reality TV star would have to face this. When the elder sibling woke up after four days, everyone rejoiced. They were happy that Tammy could see the sun. The doctors gave Tammy a tracheotomy to give her emergency breathing support at any time. After spending three weeks in the hospital, Tammy went back to rehab.
Amanda and Amy were happy to see their sister in better health. Amanda said that she was relieved but still sad. That’s because Tammy’s situation is not completely risk-free. However, she added that she prayed to God for a miracle, and he gave her one. Chris reported that Tammy is doing well and is down to 115 lbs.
