During her worst, she was at 717 Lbs. The progress graph has only gone upwards since her bariatric surgery, too. There were reports saying Tammy and her younger sister Amy only have a weight difference of 30 Lbs. Yet, it hasn’t been enough for the former to take flights.
Longtime viewers must know how she was not allowed to take flights because of her weight. Well, after a significant drop, fans found out Slaton could sit in the passenger seat of a car and even theatre chairs.
But Tammy’s drastic weight loss is still not enough for her to hop on a flight. As per Thesun, she has lost 265 Lbs in the last two years. But, the star decided to take a “road trip” to Atlanta, Georgia, instead of taking a flight there.
It’s not that Tammy can’t make it into an airplane seat. Reportedly, it would just be uncomfortable for her to do so. It took Tammy 6 hours to reach Atlanta, Georgia, from her hometown, Sturgis, Kentucky.
Apparently, she had to shoot a campaign in the studio located in the said place for 1000 Lb Sisters Season 5. There was confirmation about about the filming for the same starting in the month of August.

She has been consistent in losing more and more weight as fans saw great results. They saw her getting rid of her tube and tank as time passed. She even flaunted being able to fit into jeans.
