Both Tammy and Amy had decided to get fitter. They are working towards losing the extra pounds. Tammy lost a lot of weight in the past six months and achieved a major milestone.
She could sit behind her car’s steering wheel and wear the seat belt along with closing the door. But in a new TLC Instagram clip, the 1000 Lb Sister star achieved a big goal and soon became emotional.
In the new clip, Tammy visited her weight-loss doctor, Dr. Smith, for her surgery follow-up. The doctor had asked her to step on the weighing scale, and Tammy was nervous about it. But when the star got on the scale, it became a proud moment for her. Tammy was only 420 pounds compared to her highest weight of 725 pounds, and the star soon turned emotional.
While talking to the cameras, Tammy said she was initially worried about the weight. But when she saw the scale, she couldn’t believe she “really did this.” She revealed that she last “weighed this low” when she was 15 or 16 years old. She had looked at the doctor with misty eyes and was proud of her achievement.

Tammy decided to wear shapewear on TikTok to show fans her potential post-surgery look. However, while talking to the camera, she had a wardrobe malfunction. But the star found it funny as she giggled, saying, “My pants are falling down.” She then did more adorable modeling, like wearing a t-shirt with the text ‘chubby girls cuddle better’ on it.
