Amanda Halterman’s brother, Chris Combs recently discussed her decision to move out from Kentucky to Florida. For him, this plan might be partly driven by Amanda’s ongoing feud with younger sister, Tammy Slaton. He mentioned that she appears determined to move as she displays an attitude of not caring about others.
Chris further added that Amanda is “cutting and running to be with this guy” since she and Tammy are at odds. With the two sisters being hard headed, they are refusing to admit their mistakes and move on. Before stating these, Chris previously asked Amanda to go easy on Tammy. He asked her to reconcile with Tammy during the family dinner. But Amanda wasn’t in a mood to be sweet to her sister.

Out of all the siblings, Tammy Slaton has weighed in on the situation the most. The 1000 Lb Sisters star shared her thoughts about the matter, predicting that after a few months, RJ would see the real face of Amanda. She further stated that Amanda wasn’t as innocent as she seemed and warned that she could turn on people quickly.
Tammy even called her selfish, admitting she knew she shouldn’t be telling these things. With Amanda finally moving out, she said that she no longer cared. In the “Limo Beans” episode of 1000 Lb Sisters, Chris expressed his doubt, saying he didn’t want to hear any excuses. He believed Amanda hadn’t fully given any thought to her move.
Misty Wentworth also commented on the situation, particularly about Amanda’s tendency to make quick decisions without fully mulling over the consequences. She pointed out that their family, including Amanda, has a bad habit of talking impulsively. Afterward, Amy also voiced her concern, saying that Amanda had made such a big move way too early in her relationship.
According to Amy, Amanda is still in an initial stage of her relationship with RJ. For a position like that, her decision to shift from her place to him is a bad decision.
