One thing fans were confused about was the fact that Tammy Slaton’s caretaker in the show, Nurse Tisa, made no appearance in the latest episode. Moreso, this was an odd thing for them as she was constantly present in the series in the last few episodes. Therefore, speculations were at an all-time high on social media. The viewers put on their thinking caps and began figuring out where Tisa must be. As a result, many of them believed that she finally quit after having enough of the infamous TV star.
While there was a comment asking for the nurse, another suspected her of quitting. TV Season & Spoilers notes that another Redditor made the declaration that she was the Slaton sibling’s “only hope.” However, they also think she had to be “placed out because of the celebrity’s toxic traits and stubborn behavior”. Both Tammy and Tisa had their fair share of disagreements in the series. Hence, everyone was very convinced that the former caused the caregiver to leave. Although most comments talked of Tammy’s arrogant behavior, a theory with the most likes mentioned something else. An account recalled the time when the 35-year-old came back early from rehab. It happened at the beginning of the season before she reached her goal. The comment said that it probably was the case because the star was accused of slapping a nurse at the facility. Unluckily, these are still rumors as no one has given proof or confirmation regarding this incident.
However, the post further said that TLC included a personal caregiver in the storyline to cancel out all the previous allegations of Tammy’s violent nature. Thus, this development in the series would cleanse the TV star’s image and “clean up” the story for the show.
