1000 Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Is Trying Start A New Business, People Think She’s Scamming Her Fans
Fan-favorite Tammy Slaton had been dependant on her family and friend for a lot of things. Even though she stars on an immensely successful show, she thinks that TLC doesn’t pay her enough. Hence, she has finally started working on herself and is trying to earn more for herself. The Kentucky native recently announced that she’s starting a new business. She began an Instagram page and will soon launch a website that will sell her own merch. Her personalized merchandise will include a lot of products with some famous quotes from her show and pictures of the 1000 Lb Sisters.
Well, given that it’s been only a few days since she launched her merch, it is already doing well, and the page has followers in four-digit numbers. Besides, she and her partner have already sold a few products by now. However, as soon as her business took off, people started accusing her that she’s trying to scam her fans. Aside from allegations of committing fraud, some said she’s using her fame and support from fans to steal from them. These hateful messages and accusations increased, and Tammy was obviously hurt to hear them.
Hence, she tried to clarify herself and assure people that it’s not a scam. In an Instagram story, Tammy wrote that she wishes people would stop thinking bad of her. Also, she’s not a bad person, and she and her partner named Quincy, are trying hard to make everyone happy and talk to them. Slaton expressed that her business is genuine, and she’s only trying to sell her own merch. Most importantly, she ensures that they’re not trying to steal from her fans. On the other hand, Tammy also apologized to people who felt like she doesn’t want to talk to them.
