Amy and Tammy Slaton have stuck with one another like two peas in a pod. They have come a long way since 1000 Lb Sisters aired for the first time on TV. The siblings continue to climb the stairs of progress while dealing with other obstacles in their lives. However, after watching the previous season, many of the show’s fans are claiming that Amy and Tammy’s relationship often turns toxic from time to time. That’s because people feel the younger sister has been jealous of the eldest. Keep reading to know more details about this.
1000 Lb Sisters: Is Amy Jealous Of Her Sister Tammy Over Weight Loss?
Tammy and Amy went through very different journeys during this season of 1000 Lbs Sisters. While Tammy finally got serious about her weight loss progress, Amy depicted her pregnancy and parenthood segments for the second time. In an episode, the younger sister finally introduced her baby boy Glenn to his aunt Tammy via video call. Well, she did so because the latter was in rehab for weight loss. After interacting for a while, the elder sister told her that she was continuing to lose weight.
Well, Amy brushed her elder sister’s statement and shifted the focus to her baby boy again. In her confessional, the castmate stated that she introduced her son to her sister, yet Tammy tried to make it all about her. 1000 Lb Sisters viewers didn’t appreciate the younger sister’s behavior. That’s because they had seen the star struggle to do even the basic tasks when she was 700 Lbs. Hence, they felt Amy should have been more supportive toward her sister. So, after seeing such a segment, speculation began that the younger sister had been getting jealous of the elder’s progress.
1000 Lb Sisters: Amy Wants A “Re-Do” Of Her Weight Loss Surgery After Seeing Tammy’s Progress!
Amy Slaton was pregnant for the second time during the filming of the fourth season. Right after her surgery, her doctors advised her to wait before having kids. But the star got pregnant not once but twice in two years. An episode had her go to her doctor again to discuss her weight loss progress. The physician was glad while telling Amy that she had merely gained six pounds. Hence, she could quickly shed it and continue with her weight loss goal.
Amy still appeared dissatisfied. After finding out her elder sister Tammy had finally qualified for bariatric surgery, she wanted to know whether she, too, could have a “do-over” of the surgery. The doctors convinced the young mother that it wouldn’t be necessary. The 1000 Lb Sisters fanbase began to call out Amy for risking her life again and not being willing to put in the work to get healthier. While Tammy has been progressing drastically, her sister’s weight loss has been on hold for a while. Do you think Amy will overcome her struggles in the next season? Tell us in the comments.
