1000 Lb Sisters: Amy & Michael Are Co-Parenting!
The TLC star Amy Slaton filed a domestic violence claim against Michael in February this year. The thirty-five-year-old reality TV star later dropped the charges in May. However, the civil restraining order remained unaffected. Both Amy and her ex-husband Michael were prohibited from having any contact outside their privately agreed contract. The ex-couple was even told to maintain a distance of 500 feet from one another. They were only allowed to communicate regarding their babies through texting that too by using a particular app only. The biological parents of Glenn and Gage were allowed to be in the same room only under someone’s supervision.
The judge in March suggested that Amy and Michael should practice shared parenting so that both parents could connect and enjoy with their babies. Mama Slaton was given the weekdays to cater to her sons, while her ex was given the weekends to take care of Gage and Glenn. Later, Michael was not very comfortable with this parenting arrangement as he wanted an equal number of days with boys. Thus, he suggested an alternate parenting schedule. Wherein he wanted to be around their babies for four days during the first week and three days the next week. But Amy did not approve of his proposal. After the split, Michael has been crashing at his mother’s place while Amy lives at her sister Tammy’s place. Stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for the latest 1000 LB Sisters update!
