Ever since Gage’s birth news spread amongst the show’s fans, Amy started uploading some cute pictures of her son. However, a lot of them were questionable, and fans were quick to call her out. A few of the pictures showed bags of trash in the room, while others had dirty pillows and sheets. However, Amy’s recent social media posts came under the eye where revealed Baby Gage’s first solid meal. Alongside two pictures of her baby, Amy wrote that Gage ate green beans.
As soon as the post went up, fellow parents pointed out that a four-month-old should not be eating solid foods and juice. They said that all he currently needs is milk. One of the commenters even said that Amy should remember her unhealthy relationship with food. While others only suggested being careful, some people were rude enough to say that Amy was making her son fat by feeding him food so soon.

Amy has received many criticisms in the past and is now stepping up to defend herself. In a tweet and comments under her Instagram post, Halterman pointed out that she’s consulted her doctor and was advised to give him vegetables. She continues to say that she would never do anything that can hurt her son. In fact, the 1000 Lb Sisters celebrity even messages Gage’s nurse daily to ensure that whatever she’s doing is safe for him. However, the only thing that the doctor exempted from Gage’s diet were fruits.
Aside from the criticisms, many fans came up to support their favorite TLC star. Some parents and grandparents said that they’d fed their children at that age, and it’s safe to do that. Others just said that Amy should trust her doctors rather than listening to the comments. In fact, one of the fans even stood up against haters saying, “Food issues stem from trauma, not early eating.” As of now, the arguments related to the issue are still firing up. Well, we only hope that Baby Gage is safe and Amy overcomes all these criticisms ahead in the future.
