Amy Slaton from 1000 Lb Sisters had to call 911 on her ex, Michael Halterman, on the night of February 24. That’s when the latter had a violent streak. He had begun to throw things around the house in aggression. It happened after Amy Slaton was supposed to have dinner with her sister and take her kids. In the presence of their little ones, Gage and Glenn, Michael lost his cool. After this harrowing incident, the cops reported that none were under the influence of any substance or alcohol. Amy reported this case right after and claimed her husband has been “controlling” and “mentally abusive.”
The cops also reported that Michael got aggressive after Amy tried to discuss their separation. Since this incident in February, he filed the paperwork for their divorce in March. The sources say that Amy’s family has been very supportive of her. They also accompanied her to court once regarding this divorce-related hearing. The viewers also saw cracks in their marriage in the new episodes when Michael refused to help his wife when the family was out for a barbeque lunch, and she was trying to calm both the kids down at once.
