1000 Lb Sisters: Judge Alots Amy & Michael Temporary Joint Custody Over Their Sons Glenn & Gage!
Amy and Michael’s divorce turned out to be darker than one had ever imagined. The 1000 Lb Sisters found out that the latter has a violent streak. Following this, his wife ended up getting an “emergency protection order” against him. But as per TheSun, the judge of their ongoing court case has now given the former couple “joint custody” of their little sons. Well, it is temporary. It was possible after Michael Halterman put forward his claims that both parents have been “caregivers” for their children since birth.
But since the emergency protection order is still in the picture, Amy and Michael are supposed to maintain a 500 feet distance from one another. As of March 22, the parents must partake in a “shared parenting schedule.” Doing this would maximize the exes from the parenting time that is available to them. The court also directed Amy and Michael to be 500 feet away from each other’s property. They will also supervise all their conversations through an app.
1000 Lb Sisters: Amy Accuses Husband Michael Halterman Of Being Abusive Towards Their Kids!
The reports said that Amy Slaton is currently crashing at her sister, Tammy Slaton’s new house. It happened after the former left her house with Michael Halterman following their separation. She took this step after her husband’s very violent streak. Once she told Halterman about her wish to part ways with him, the cops said that he grew violent. He did so by throwing things around the house. It happened in the presence of their kids, Glenn and Gage.
Further, in her complaint, Amy also talked about her husband hitting their kids. She mentioned that her former husband had harsh ways of “disciplining” Gage and Glenn. This included yanking them by their arm very hard. Hence, the 1000 Lb Sisters fanbase is quite surprised to find out why and how the court granted them joint custody. Especially when such things have come into the limelight. While the pair have filed for divorce paperwork, there have been no further updates about their case since then.
